The Firm Survplans is a surveying and mapping firm involved in topographical, engineering and cadastral surveying. In the past few years Survplans has in keeping with the emerging trends in the Geospatial industry undertaken Photogrammetric, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems tasks. We offer services to private individuals, professionals in the land development field , public and private sector companies, Government agencies and NGO’s among others. We are based in Nairobi, Kenya but have had the privilege of working in several countries in the region namely Mozambique, Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Somaliland. Profile Survplans was established in 1998. Among our projects have been topographical survey and aerial mapping of roads, water and sewerage delivery systems, subdivisions of large and small - scale farms and natural resource mapping. We have also undertaken Geographical Information services mapping for mainly agencies of the Government of Kenya. The CEO of the firm served for ten years with the Survey of Kenya during which period he gathered valuable experience in surveying and mapping, resigning as superintendent surveyor to go into private practice. Some of our well known clients have been the Governments of Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan and Kenya. Our other clients have been the United Nations, International Federation of the Red Cross & Red Crescent, and U.S. Embassy among many others. Directors |

The professionals among the staff all have surveying and photogrammetry backgrounds but are specialists in different fields within the profession. All the professionals have immense experience in their respective areas of specialization and in surveying and mapping in general. There is a trained photogrammetrist who has vast knowledge in the science of mapping using aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing images. Apart from the two directors, Survplans has a total strength of 11 other people.
